All links are not created equal.

You already know that the amount and kind of links you have at your site have  an impact on how search engines view your site’s value.

So when you use a three-way-link system it is quite beneficial.

Here is the short scoop in case you forgot…

• You have Site A and you want more traffic to it and you want its Search Engine ranking to be higher.
•  So you submit your link to SITE B which can yield a reciprocal link to your site. But you want a stronger link.
• By carefully selecting  SITE B you will soon see your link sent to SITE C.
• AND SITE C links back to your SITE A. That is a good three way link arrangement.

 Yes, you can do this all on your own if you have a few extra sites to link to each other in relevant categories.

However, that takes time. So some people outsource the task. But even better is finding a program or a company that does it automatically for you. Preferably for free!

If not for free, go for low cost and reliability to get links that will retain their strength over time and will not go away when you stop paying attention to them.

You can still do that. It takes time and not all of the links are as valuable as others. Pay attention to the page rank of the site where you are getting that link. If your site ranks higher, you are actually helping THAT site with its ranking. That is not a bad thing, but you ought to know it is happening.

So that is one source of free one way links. Another source is the resource box at the end of those wonderful articles you have been writing.

Press releases are of course another way for you to generate some free one way links. Now why would you want these links?

Because the search engines like to see a variety of sources for your links. Also you need to pay attention to the balance of links going OUT away from your site relative to those that are coming INTO your site AND relative to those links that are entirely INSIDE your site.

Because that is a lot to think about, some people have collected data and made ebooks that will explain how to make the best use of different sites for free one way links.

There are always computer wizards who will find a way to automate procedures like this. And these tasks are often outsourced for very low costs to online marketers. I know I said FREE. I know. I have created hundreds of one way links for many different clients with a focus on sites that are related to their topic, to keep them congruent, and that have high page ranks.

You also want to look at how long those links will stay on those sites and be helpful. In fact, once you get to thinking about it, you will want to map out your whole link building strategy or plan to make the best use of your time and resources.

I was thinking about this at a meeting the other day when I learned how many people in the room did not have any idea that they needed to even HAVE links coming into their sites. The idea is to improve the ranking of your site in the search engine’s view. And many of these active marketers had no clue. That is what prompted me to make this post. Any questions?

So I gave the review process a little extra time to be certain I would give a fair review.

Remember from the last post that Mass Article Creator and Mass Article Submitter are in the package you get when you buy the Mass Article Control system designed by BOBBY WALKER & ADEEL CHOWDHRY.

I did not like the super slick sales page.  It was one of those too good to be true things. But I took a chance that I could always get my money back if the program did not meet my expectations or needs.  I had 60 days for a trial period. That is a generous allotment of time which you need if you want to SEE results from article marketing.

The examples and testimonials of course were fantastic.  Mass Article Creator seemed to push the idea of getting a thousand articles out of one seed article.  I had quality concerns with both the spinner and the submitter.  And I said ” Time will tell.” in the previous post.

Well friends, TIME HAS TOLD.

I am incredibly disappointed. Not only could I NOT get Mass Article Creator to function properly on my computer, I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get adequate support from their back office.  I spend altogether too much time TRYING to make it work because I wanted it too.

I even went to the Warrior Forum and asked for help. I got some good ideas and tried them to no avail.  I asked Mass Article Creator support for a contact phone number to work out the issues because it seems VISTA had issue for a lot of people trying to use the program. The simple response was, sorry we don’t do phone support.

Granted the emails and support responses finally got into the hands of someone who appeared to actually READ them and comprehend my problem and TRY to work with me through these day after day support ticket responses.  However. My patience was wearing thin.  I kept hearing things like, try this training video or that plug-in etc.  Once I simply sent an email saying. FIX IT or TAKE IT BACK.

THEN we got into about 3 days of professional cajoling to convince me to stay with the program. You would NOT believe the ton of good things they were willing to give me to keep me involved and wait until their “updated” system was in place.

It took three days of my direct responses to these strong suggestions to “hang in there with this”. Meanwhile I had written my test article several times WITHOUT their synonym substituter and submitted it on my own WITHOUT signing up for all 20 of their submitters.  My articles were posted online before they agreed to give me the guaranteed refund if I was not satisfied.

Hm. Maybe its just me. I like to write. I confess, I had fun trying to make their spinner work for a day. However, my time is too precious to waste trying to force something to work for me when I can do the same thing in less time without the tools they provided.

Oh Yes. About those thousand articles. . . One of the first things they clarified when I downloaded these two software programs was how silly it would be to expect ONE article to be converted into a thousand USEFUL ones with a spinner. They then gave a formula for how to make 5 or 10 articles turn into x amount just so many times and achieve the impact of a THOUSAND articles.  Hmmm.  Do you wonder why I am disappointed?

Soon I will not have Vista to hold me back. But I do not intend to return to Mass Article Creator again. I wasted valuable time. I learned. I will continue to use my own tools for creating unique articles and recommend that other people do so too.

Perhaps if you are not a skilled writer this software has appeal. However, there are other ways to accomplish the same task of obtaining good quality links from unique articles without spending your money and time learning yet another system.

Sorry Bobby and Adeel and the support team. It is a big disappointment.

And be confident that I will get good quality and good results.

I started out with 1waylinks.com and had some good results at the outset. But it was not long after that – a couple of months- that it was clear my sites had moved beyond what it could offer.  Hence, I began using these other services for my sites as well as for the sites of my clients. It has been incredible. I have been so busy I have hardly had time to come back and tell you about it!

So, here is my long awaited (I hope) summary and comparison.
I begin with Part Two for Unique Article Wizard.

Unique Article Wizard cannot be beat.  Its power and versatility makes me wonder what took me so long to get focused and start really using it.
UAW gives you quality backlinks from the process of article submission and article syndication. With it you can not only receive fine focused and original articles at your website but it also receive excellent distribution options for your articles, in terms of target audience and rapid or well paced distribution choices.

Features I like:

• including more than one link per article.
• acceptable to use affiliate links
• passive list building
• affordable
  

It is well worth learning how to apply the UAW format to your articles. You write one article and two additional versions in the prescribed format. (Or hire someone to write for you in UAW format.) Hint. I  can do that!

Choose the categories for maximum targeting and distribution. Set the distribution rates and dates. Check  your links and then it runs for you on autopilot.

NEXT is Part TWO for MY ARTICLE NETWORK
The initial similarity is obvious to me now. My Article Network is an article marketing, article submission and article syndication site from which you garner good quality backlinks. It has a much smaller network of sites than UAW. But the sites in this network are all good quality and their backlinks will remain viable for a long time. Like UAW it provides you with free content for your blog too.

Features I Like:

• easy to use format
• affordable
• flexible submission speeds
• set it and leave it run on its own

I got good backlinks but not a lot of traffic from this network. It was a slower pace than UAW. Perhaps that is good for a beginning site, as mine was.  It was a more natural pacing for backlinks to appear and that is a search engine friendly feature.  It far outpaces 1waylinks.com where I started!  The categories and tags are neither as numerous nor as specific as those at UAW. Also, affiliate links were not permitted. Each article could have one link in the text and one in the resource box.

NEXT is PART TWO for BACKLINK SOLUTIONS

I truly wish they still had open membership available. I like this program. But they declared at the outset that only so many members would be allowed and they actually closed the doors. You can still sign up for their waiting list to be notified when their membership will be open again.

Backlink Solutions is not an article submitter and it is not an article syndicator. It has more in common with Linkvana than it does with UAW or My Article Network.

Backlink Solutions is a one way link backlink service provider and it really ROCKS. It  does take a little while to learn how to use the internal system. But I have a way to simplify it that I am willing to share if you were to sign up at my link. However. The major drawback to this outstanding program is their membership doors are closed right now.  It involves placing small posts  to multiple sites, their blog network which works with WordPress and has highly ranked sites. You set the rate of distribution and categories  (I suggest the full membership which allows you access to all of the relevant sites is well worth the fee.) And after a couple of hours you are finished with your backlinks set up for the month, or more.

If you are really stressed for time, go ahead and hire someone to do it for you. I cannot say it is “cut and paste” simple, but it is very direct and runs smoothly. You will get lots of backlinks at the pace you set. It really made a difference in several of my sites.

Take a look at this one site that is very small and relatively new. It is ranking on Page 1 of Google in direct competition with some sites with a lot more clout. I was busy preparing my statement about how good the service is and how well my sites are going along in the SERPs. And missed the signup window.  When you go there now there is a signup form to be notified when they REOPEN those doors.  So if I were you, I would put myself ON that list.

I was originally going to post Part Two of my other reviews first. But then I realized this program is a really strong contender in the line for creating long lasting and valuable backlinks, so it deserves up front attention too.

Unique Article Wizard is where you write the article, choose you keywords and anchor text, add the urls and hyperlinks. Then you format the article to fit their rotation plan and they send it out in syndicated form to their gigantic network of article directories and blogs.

Dr. Noel Swanson created this gem of a program to meet his own needs         for valuable and steady traffic to his sites.And then it grew.

So what does UAW do?  It provides backlinks from your articles, each of which has unique content and can be to any number of your domains. Get that, your domains are unlimited.  Generally, within 48 hours your article is  indexed by Google and has sent backlinks to your site . Within 1-3 weeks you are likely to have anywhere from 50-200 variations of your article indexed by Google and Yahoo. This has a very positive impact on your rankings in search engines which naturally results in more traffic to your site.  You also begin to be seen as an expert in your niche with your articles around everywhere.

Not only that, but there is a link that allows readers of your article to get their own unique version of that article to use on their own websites. And you get easy to read weekly statistics of your article distribution.  All of your articles are listed in your backoffice control panel and you can schedule when they are to be distributed. I think that is one of the best features for me. I can write when I am really revved up about something and put up posts for future use.  Unique Article Wizard also sends these articles to a much larger network than most of the other services combined.

I will return with results to share.  So far I have only one  issue with UAW.  The sales page claims that it only takes 30 seconds to submit your article once it is set up. Well. I can tell you it takes a LOT longer to set up than it does to submit. But the submit process is where their computer does the final proofing. It is exceptionally valuable. But indeed it takes more than 30 seconds to submit.

That is what I want to know and what I want to explore with this post.  I have several questions to answer before I can decide whether or not I am comfortable with a recommendation. So I will include them in Part One of my Review.  After I run a few more tests to answer my questions, I will return with Part Two and show what I have learned about Linkvana. Meanwhile, on with the review and questions about Linkvana.

What is Linkvana?

Linkvana is a link-building service that permits you to create an unlimited number of good quality one way links to any page of your website.  The blogs that Linkvana sends your posts to are popular, have high page ranks from PR 2- PR 5 and have been around for a while, some sites are years old. This results in high quality backlinks from multiple internet providers and that is something Google likes.

Who owns Linkvana?  Can I trust this owner?

Dave Kelly is the owner and developer of Linkvana. His company name is Arundel Net Inc.  Dave Kelly is a search engine optimization master whose advice has been sought and used by successful internet marketers for many years. Though I do not know him, the people who do have assured me he is a man of his word and is worthy of my trust. I need to know this because the monthly fee is a significant bump in my budget.  I don’t want to pay it if he is going to be gone tomorrow.

What does Linkvana cost?

The monthly membership right now is $147.

How does Linkvana work?

You write short posts about your topic.  You include the anchor text and the hyperlinks for your site. Linkvana sends your posts to their large blog network.  Once you write the posts and set the distribution rate, it is automatic from there. Behind the scenes there are people who review your posts for quality to be included in the network to keep it’s quality up. The rate of distribution per post is minimized so you do not get a flood of links all of a sudden, a natural and slower pace is set and the posts begin to circulate. Once the posts hit and get indexed by Google, you will begin to see backlinks at your site and see results in your search engine ranking.  That is what they say.  And that is what is happening.

Is Linkvana User Friendly? I am not a computer geek.

Yes. Linkvana is very user friendly. Even on the first time into the site you are supposed to be able to navigate through the system and create your projects without difficulty. They have a support system that works. I like that.

How will I know IF Linkvana IS working for me?

You will know the same way I will know. We look in our admin section for comments and pingbacks from the links we sent out. They will show us very  quickly if the actions we took at Linkvana are actually being sent out in a timely manner. The real proof is going to be in the results of these actions. How much improvement in my Search Engine Ranking will I see and how fast?  And how much will THIS improve my income?  That is what I wait to see.

Well, I am here to tell you today that BacklinkSolutions are better. Yes. BETTER.

I gave it a try and got inside and found it was awkward and clunky in the backoffice. But let me tell you with the kind of results I got, I can live with awkward steps.

Hey, I can soar past them and find ways around them to get the postings done even faster. Yep. Created my own shortcuts.

But I am not here to tell you about them. Just about the terrific support that the staff gave me when I was struggling to find my way.  THEN the instructions and videos were crystal clear for me.  I am so grateful.

My sites are doing incredibly well. I am posting to all of the member sites regularly with my chosen keywords and I can see results right away both in my own backoffice for the site and in my Google listings for the site I just hit with good quality backlinks.  This is one great program and service. Thanks Chad Cook for a job well done.

Back links can make or break a web site’s ability to draw traffic and organic rankings from Search Engines.

It is not only the number of backlinks, but the quality that makes the difference in your listing. So look at your competition and see how many backlinks they have and go out and get better quality backlinks than they do and you will be surprised by your results.

That is one thing I did. Another thing is to backlink to sites that are not going away. Make sure those backlinks will last.

Chad taught me that anchor text backlinks with keywords are really quite valuable and so is that LSI stuff. Latent Semantic Indexing is that stuff I am still wrestling to learn.

But the beauty of using a service like BacklinkSolutions.com is working with a program that takes all of this into account and puts it to work for you even if you do not fully understand all of the nuances. Sweet.
